 Attention! In Abu Dhabi, failing to stop when seeing a school bus "stop" signal will be severely punished.



The Abu Dhabi Police Department released a video urging drivers to come to a complete stop in both directions and maintain at least a five-meter distance when they see the school bus driver extending the "stop" sign, to ensure the safety of students crossing the road.


The police clarified that drivers who do not stop upon seeing the school bus "stop" signal will be fined 1,000 dirhams and have 10 points deducted.
