 Google launches "AI Mode" search feature in UAE and MENA region



According to local media, Google is rolling out its most powerful AI search experience—AI Mode—in the Middle East and North Africa region. This English feature will be gradually available to users in the UAE over the coming days.

Google explained in a statement that the feature is powered by a customized version of the latest Gemini 2.5 model, specifically designed to handle complex multi-layered problems that previously required multiple searches to resolve. For residents of the UAE, this means it will be easier to accomplish tasks such as comparing the latest smartphones, planning a road trip across the UAE, or understanding complex operation manuals.
