The UAE's "Home for Influencers" has attracted 2,415 content creators, with a total fan base exceeding 2.45 billion



Breakthrough progress in the UAE's content economy strategy: The global influencer community "Creators HQ," launched in January this year, has attracted 2,415 content creators from 147 countries  data from the first six months, more than 78 global content industry companies are relocating to the UAE from 24 different countries. These creators have a combined fan base of over 2.45 billion, marking the UAE's rapid rise as a core hub for the global digital content industry.


1. Global Siphon Effect: The "Migration Wave" of Talent from 147 Countries and 78 Companies

As of July 2024, Creators HQ members cover 147 countries worldwide, with major contributions from the UK, USA, India, Pakistan, France, and Germany. Leading creators include social media bloggers, podcasters, and visual artists with tens of millions of followers. The 78 relocating companies include industry giants such as Meta, TikTok, and Spotify, as well as innovative enterprises in gaming, esports, VR/AR, and AI content technology sectors.

The founder of UK digital marketing company Creator Now stated: "The UAE's policy benefits and global ecosystem were key reasons for establishing our Middle East headquarters here."


2. Policy Package: Full-Chain Support from Golden Visas to Industry Funds

As a core initiative launched by Sheikh Mohammed, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, at the "1 Billion Fans Summit," Creators HQ has built an integrated ecosystem of "policy + services + resources":

Visa and Settlement: Golden visas for eligible creators, simplified company registration processes, free office space, and relocation subsidies;

Funding Support: A dedicated content creation fund providing incubation funding up to one million dirhams for quality projects;

Industry Empowerment: Over 300 masterclasses and international summits held annually, connecting creators with brands and investors. For example, the "Global Content Entrepreneurs Conference" in partnership with Tube Filter has facilitated 120 business collaborations.

3. The "Multiplier Effect" of the Content Economy: The Industry Value Behind 2.45 Billion Fans

The total fan base of resident creators reaches 2.45 billion, covering all content forms including social media, digital streaming, and podcasts. UAE Minister of Cabinet Affairs Mohammed Al Jelawei pointed out: "This is not only a concentration of attention but also a combination of cultural influence and economic value. Using the influencer economy as a fulcrum, we are driving synergistic growth across e-commerce, tourism, technology, and other sectors." Data shows that the UAE influencer marketing market reached 1.8 billion dirhams in 2023 and is expected to exceed 4 billion dirhams by 2025.
