 Thunderstorms and rains to hit parts of UAE over next two days



Thunderstorms and rains are expected in some parts of the UAE over the next two days, the UAE's National Meteorological Center (NCM) said on Tuesday.

According to the NCM, humid air masses from the Arabian and Oman seas are moving towards the country.

Temperatures will rise during the day and convective clouds are expected to form in scattered areas due to the presence of the eastern mountain ranges.

Parts of the eastern and southern regions will be affected from Wednesday to Thursday, extending to some inland areas. Rainfall of varying intensity, sometimes accompanied by lightning and thunder, is expected.

Winds will be moderate from the southeast to northeast and may raise dust and reduce horizontal visibility.
